Dear Members and Friends,

We are excited to invite you to a congregation wide Erev Rosh Hashana Dinner on Sunday, September 25th at Temple Shalom. Come join us in celebrating the new year.

The Jewish New Year evening will include the brachot (food blessings) with Rabbi Aaron, followed by shofar playing, Rosh Hashana activity for kids, a wonderful dinner, and Erev Rosh Hashana services.

Rather than hire a caterer, we thought we would purchase a couple of meat dishes (perhaps a roast and some chickens) and ask each participant to bring a dish (non-dairy) to share with the congregation.

The event is open to everyone, but we will ask non-members to contribute $10 each to help defray the costs of the meat dishes.

Feel free to invite friends from outside the Temple Shalom community to join us. Dinner will begin at 5:30 pm; Erev Rosh Hashana Services will begin at 7:00 pm.
